To further advance international educational cooperation and promote coordinated development in talent cultivation and scientific research, the China-ASEAN School of Economics of Guangxi University held an online working meeting with the Faculty of Economics and Business Management of the National University of Laos on April 27, 2026. Both sides agreed that the visiting study and joint training program represents an important step in advancing student exchange and educational cooperation, and will provide a solid foundation for the expansion of future collaborative initiatives.

In the area of research collaboration, the two sides held discussions on the joint establishment of the “China-ASEAN Financial Intelligence International Laboratory.” The China-ASEAN School of Economics introduced the foundation, current progress, and future development plans of the laboratory, and proposed further strengthening cooperation in interdisciplinary fields combining artificial intelligence and finance. The National University of Laos expressed strong support for the initiative, noting its broad prospects for development, and stated that it would actively coordinate with relevant departments within the university to facilitate project implementation.
