Abstract: Against the backdrop of slowing global economic growth, RCEP has continued to release policy dividends since its implementation two years ago, further strengthening the resilience of regional industrial chains and supply chains, and also becoming a major opportunity for China’s border regions to expand opening-up at a high level, which is conducive to building China’s border regions into a new frontier of opening-up. We will further promote the formation of a more coordinated and balanced new pattern of regional opening up and coordinated development. On the basis of sorting out the content and rules of the RCEP agreement, this paper systematically studies the initial results achieved in the opening up and development of the border areas under the RCEP framework, and puts forward suggestions for further enhancing the level of opening up and path selection in the border areas.
